 Clara Rankin Williams has a unique sense of design and classic style. She shares that creative vision in her jewelry line CLARABELLE. She uses semi-precious stones including aquamarine, peridot, amethyst and citrine with pearls and metal work to create delicate and stunning pieces that go from day to evening. Each piece garners attention for its impressive
individuality. Clara is involved in every step of the process, from purchasing stones through design and creation of unique Clarabelle jewelry.
A graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School, Clara cultivated and refined her interest in making jewelry during her college years where she studied metallurgy and jewelry design. She worked in the high-tech world with US Robotics before attending Harvard Business School. After graduation, Clara returned to high-tech industry in Chicago.
In 2001, Clara decided it was time to combine her entrepreneurial spirit and creative energies by starting Clarabelle and launching a jewelry design business.
She is considered one of Mildred Hoit's new 'rising star' designers. Her collection of
magnetic clasps on semi-precious stones is available at the shop.
